Effective date: October 31, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Combest Ventures LLC ("we," "us") for using The Rickhouse app and getrickhouse.app. By creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be 21 or older, of legal drinking age where you live, and able to agree to these terms. One account per person. The information you give us must be true, including your date of birth. The Rickhouse is offered in the United States only.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@rickhouseapp.com if you think someone else is using it.
The Rickhouse is for sharing your collection and your experiences, not for alcohol transactions. You may not use the app to buy, sell, trade, auction, ship or arrange the transfer of alcohol, or to advertise bottles for sale. Marking a bottle as "Moved On" only records that it left your Cellar. We may remove any content that looks like an offer to buy, sell or trade.
Barrel picks and pre-orders organized by retailers are between you and that licensed retailer. We are not a party to them and do not take payment.
Good bourbon, better people. You agree not to:
Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive.
You own what you post: your photos, notes, posts and messages. You give us a license to host, store, display and process it, including with AI, so we can run the app and show it to the people your settings allow. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, with two exceptions:
The Rickhouse has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. We use automated tools and human review to keep it safe. You can report a member, post, comment, chat message or direct message in the app, and block anyone. We review reports and act on them, including removing content and suspending or removing the member who posted it, typically within 24 hours. If you think we got a decision wrong, email support@rickhouseapp.com.
Rickhouse leaders set their own house rules, as long as they follow these terms. Events and tastings organized in the app are run by members, not by us. You attend at your own risk and are responsible for following local laws, including alcohol laws.
Bottle details, label readings and other information in the app come from members, outside sources and AI. They can be wrong. Check the bottle itself before relying on proof, age or other details.
Founder status is a thank-you to our first members and is not for sale. There are no paid features today. If we add any, they will come with their own clear terms before you can buy them.
If you got the app from Apple's App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no duty to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens at an event or between members. Our total liability is limited to $100. You agree to cover our losses from claims caused by your content or your breaking these terms.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
Texas law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Brazos County, Texas, and either of us may use small claims court for claims that qualify.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Questions: support@rickhouseapp.com.
